Week Six February 25th to March 1st

Synopsis of the week On Monday and Tuesday we will conclude Chapter 2 of our text. We will also form our small group for Praxis Project 2019 and discuss within these groups topic selection. A review of terms will be given (see below - Tuesday) and an assignment ( 3 short answer essays) will be completed in class on Wednesday and submitted at the end of class. Wednesday is a Theology Department planning day. On Thursday , we will have a short, objective Test related to Dr. King and Chapter 2. This will not take the whole class period. The remainder of time will be given to small group Praxis work. Finally, on  Friday we will listen to a section from Dr. King's Riverside speech given one year to the day of his death. Week Five February 19th to February 22nd

This week will have an exposition of Chapter 2 of our course text. An exposition is a detailed look at key concepts as well as a discussion. A primer on the principle of Human Dignity will be distributed. We will also move into groups for the Praxis Project (Wednesday/Thursday) and finish our look at "Citizen King." There will be a discussion in light of Chapter 2 and looking forward to Chapter 3.
